china wear for 6, Selection of glasses, pans, cutlery…
and we think most things a kitchen could wish for!
Bedroom
1:
A
lovely room with oak beams and floor. A king-size sleigh bed, double
shaker style wardrobe and bed side drawers, bed side lamps, central
chandelier hanging from a 14 ft pitch roof with a sky light (under
the stars). Egyptian cotton white bedding, stylish cushions, throws
and rugs Bose CD/ radio alarm clock…and a double ended roll
top bath!
Bedroom
2:
This
room is above the lounge, up a small spiral staircase.
This quaint loft room has oak beams and a low pitch roof with a sky
light over the bed for more stargazing.. It has a miniature stable
door and stone steps leading down to the garden that overlooks the
mountain.
A king- size sleigh bed, Shaker style bedside drawers, bedside lamps,
small wardrobe area, beige wool carpet and luxury bedding / soft furnishings
as in room 1, En
suite shower room:
Electric shower, washbasin, toilet, limestone floor, mosaic tiles,
stylish fittings.
Bedroom
3:
Again
this room is on its own level with a lovely French single sleigh/day
bed with a second bed that pulls out from underneath. You can either
choose to arrange them as twins or a double as required.
A shaker style double wardrobe and bedside drawers with lamp, beige
wool carpet and luxury bedding / soft furnishings as in other rooms.
TV/DVD with Freesat.
There is a stable door that opens on to the front of the house
This
room doubles up as a great second living room. (Great for the children/teenagers)
or for people who can only manage to climb a couple of stairs as there
is a shower room next-door and 4 steps up to the lounge/dining and
kitchen.
Shower room: (next to room 3)
Large shower, toilet, washbasin, Limestone floor, luxury fittings.
Garden:
This lovely cottage garden has stunning views of the mountain.
It is enclosed with a stone wall, with a good size lawn and patio
area.
Garden table and chairs for 6, with parasol, 2 benches, barbeque and
gazebo.
Other information..
There are freshly cut flowers throughout the cottage, candles, logs
for the fire and a welcome of wine, chocolates, fruit, teas, fresh
coffee, bread, milk, eggs, butter, jam and some other goodies to make
your stay a pleasant one.
There is an extensive DVD library with over 100 DVD ’s and
lovely books, magazines, CD’s and board games to choose from.
The
house has gas central heating. Please note that because the house
is old there are some low beams and doorways so please mind your head.
There is a landline for outgoing landline calls (Not mobiles or outside
the UK) We have free wifi for those wanting to catch up on emails...The
cottage is a non-smoking house and we do not accept pets.
As the cottage is on the side of the fell the pathway leading up to
the house has 4 very shallow steps (1 every few feet) Care must be
taken with small children or the infirm.
There is information in the house of some stylish suggestions of places
to go and things to do.
